Honoring a great man:
ReplyDeleteit remains to be seen what i've learned... what else do you say when you've witnessed a century of digression from civilization? Our conversations were infused with anecdotes, songs and humor... but all i heard was an interactive history lesson, illuminating segments and unexpected slabs of wisdom. When class was dismissed, what i thought i knew became unbearably light. I struggled to regain my balance and course corrected my vision to more substantive matters and that fleeting essence of life that they had mastered. Well, the prophets of the past tell us that the highest level of understanding is love... am beginning my apprenticeship. r.i.p.
